Erstaunlich gut.
Mortenn’s Deck Switching Shell ist erstaunlich stabil und äußerst haltbar gebaut. Das ist definitiv kein Gimmick, bei dem man ständig Angst haben muss, es im Einsatz zu beschädigen.
Ein kleiner Punkt fällt allerdings beim Bekleben mit einer Original-Kartenschachtel auf: Die Shell ist etwas größer als die eigentliche Schachtel. Dadurch bleibt an den Rändern ein schmaler weißer Bereich sichtbar. Aus normaler Entfernung ist das sicherlich kein großes Problem, sollte aber erwähnt werden.
Im Vergleich zu Dean Dills „Blizzard“-Shell ist Mortenns Version außerdem an zwei gegenüberliegenden Enden offen. Bei Publikum, das rundherum steht, sollte man deshalb ein wenig auf die Winkel achten.
Der Deckaustausch direkt in der Hand ist clever, verlangt aber etwas Übung, bis er wirklich selbstverständlich aussieht. Wer bereits mit Dean Dills Methode vertraut ist: Auch dieses Handling funktioniert mit der Shell hervorragend und ist für mich eine sehr gute Alternative.
