He holds online degrees in Human Resource Management, Associate of Arts in Human Resource Management, Anthropology, and Associate of Applied Science in Anthropology. He has also completed training and continuing education at the Center for Agogik Basel (ZAK): Self-management: Effective conversation strategies; Family mediation as a model for other forms of conflict; Treating work-related stress and burnout; Creative action; Unconventional problem-solving in teams and organizations; Farewells and rituals for conflict resolution; and working with families who are difficult to motivate. As for magic, at just 17 years old, he became the youngest member of the MR in Switzerland and later mastered the then-quite strict admission requirements for the PEA (Psychic Entertainers Association). Some of his writings have been published in translation in the USA, and he has produced a small number of his effects himself. Even today, he is known in relevant circles as a creator and producer of "impossible objects." However, few know about his membership in a secret society, his rise to the highest ranks and his dramatic exit, his work as a medium, and the fact that he was called a "white shaman" during his numerous stays on Native American reservations in America.

This list alone is almost breathtaking. The themes are reminiscent of Indiana Jones, with the search for a mysterious Tibetan monastery or the mysterious story of a mummy, while Fred and Tom is aimed more at young readers and addresses slavery in the Southern states before the Civil War.
The booklets are briefly flipped through. The different layouts, fonts, and illustrations, which were taken from the originals, are visible. Then they are laid out side by side. (In the following routine, one spectator is included as a participant; in one variation, two participate.)

A spectator is asked to mentally choose one of the notebooks. The performer writes a Roman numeral I on the top sheet of his notebook, shows it while gesturing, writes something down, tears off the sheet, folds it, and places it in a bowl. The spectator is then asked to pick up "his" notebook, check how many pages it has, close it again, and think of any page number. The performer fixes his gaze again, makes another note after a Roman numeral II, and then treats the second sheet of his notebook like the first. The performer announces that he will now attempt to read thoughts before they are even thought. He fixes his gaze again on the spectator, makes another note after a Roman numeral III, tears off the third sheet, folds it, and places it with the first two. Only then does the spectator name the page. The performer takes one of the other two notebooks, opens the named page, and shows the first noun on it. The spectator is then asked to open this page in his notebook and read out the first noun on it. It's a different one, just like the one on the next page. He tips the pieces of paper out of the bowl. A spectator takes them and unfolds them. Behind the "I" is the booklet chosen next, behind the "II" the page number, and behind the "III" the word just read.

The effect is a version of the well-known "one-ahead principle," but without any logical inconsistency. It is made possible by the clever construction of the booklets. Perkeo came up with the idea while working on the Jaks book, inspired by the great mentalist's numerous one-ahead variations and his book test with novelettes.

Additional Mind Reading: The prerequisite for a second mind reading has also been added, which can be shown immediately afterwards or separately.
For the first routine, you simply have to remember the force word and pay attention to which notebook the spectator picks up. The final prompt depends on this. They can flick through the entire book, or even read it (this is the first difference from most other versions!), and then they are asked to choose a page and say the page number.
What your fellow player in his position doesn't see, but the entire audience does, is that you've now taken a second copy of this book out of your pocket and are leafing through it. As soon as the fellow player has named their page, you look into your book and begin quoting from that page, individual words, whole sentences, or other details. This is repeated with one or two more pages, which the fellow player chooses freely. But then, that's it, this phase is over: The fellow player is completely perplexed, the audience amused. You both slowly turn to the audience and you explain the "miracle" to the fellow player by showing them your second copy: "The other spectators know how I did it...! - But what they don't know is that this book is completely empty...!"
And now it's the entire audience's turn to marvel, as you zip through your book—clearly visible to your fellow player and all other spectators—all blank pages. In this context, here are some other differences compared to other versions:
The second specimen is identical to the other in appearance and thickness, but it still has…
… actually has just as many blank pages as the other printed one.
...it provides all the information necessary to demonstrate the effect as described, without having to memorize anything.
...it is designed in such a way that you don't have to look at the book as you rush through, but can let your gaze wander freely over the audience, and still show it convincingly empty!
This has already transformed mental cabaret into a mental effect. But now it's adding something extra that's also not possible with other versions.

Part 2: “Mind Reading”
The other player still has his book in his hand. Now he should open it again and memorize any noun, whether short or long, from somewhere. This time he should not name the page, but simply memorize the word, close the book, and think intently about the chosen word.
At first, only the first letter registers with you. You say it. If it's correct, you let out a silent cry of joy and lead to a minor sensation. In most cases, however, your fellow player will shake their head. You appear confused. Ask them for the correct first letter. They say it. You still can't believe it. You had such a strong telepathic inspiration... You say the word you received, which actually begins with the letter you said, and ask—still confused—for the word the spectator thought of. And now confusion and amazement spill over, because the word the spectator thought of is a synonym for the term you said (another word for the same thing). "The fellow player was obviously concentrating so intensely on their word that an image formed in their head, which was then sent telepathically...!"

Here again the crucial points:
… The viewer can choose (almost) any page (with a volume of 148 pages, only the first 14 and last 11 are taboo) and
… any noun (except proper names and place names).
… You mention the first letter without any prior information.
...As soon as the spectator says the correct letter, you know their word and your correct synonym. - No, you don't even have to memorize these few words, and you don't need any additional aids either...!

An inexplicable mental effect with a cabaret-worthy prelude, which you can easily skip if you're not the type. Conversely, you can also be content with the first part on appropriate occasions.

The instruction booklet explains everything in detail on 20 pages and even provides presentation snippets: The "IKS" books - The Complete Routine - Preparation - Presentation (Basics) - Special for the book test - The process - The MoaB principle - Word list - Presentation I (MoaB classic) - Memo help - Presentation II (Braco's MoaB) - Acknowledgements (Thanks go to Shawn Farquhar, who came up with the gag solution with the blank book. We corresponded with him beforehand, and he had no objections to our innovative development.)
And we're offering you the whole package (two professionally printed and bound pocket-sized trick books and an instruction booklet) for a sensational price, for which you'll hardly find a single book review.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0514/1980/7926/products/image0-002_6a11fe60-0274-47b9-b879-f29b4d71955b.jpg?v=1640264247
per1011
Principles 2: ESP Forcer | Perkeo

A spectator freely names any number from 1 to 24 and counts the 24 printed ESP symbols (the five different ones in random order) on a board until they reach the corresponding symbol. Yes, really, with the second board, you can force two different ESP symbols one after the other, in any order you choose, using two freely named audience numbers, without swapping the board, flipping anything over, or setting anything aside. The booklet also includes templates for three more forcing boards, including one that can force four different symbols.

The use of the tablets is described in connection with a mental epic effect, for which this force was originally created. You will also find the "game show" from Perkeo's current program, in which a viewer gets his money back thanks to these tablets. Their use as a brain-viewing device, with the help of which a viewer determines which ESP symbols two others have pocketed, is mysterious and entertaining. It becomes magical and spooky when a viewer is led in their dream to five "gravestones" into which five different symbols are "carved." They freely choose an hour and decide whether it is morning or evening. They count both times on a "symbol plate" and thus find two gravestone symbols. First, the three other plates are turned over. One sees a snake, a toad, and a skull. Then comes the plate that was discarded due to the time interpretation. Beneath it lies a treasure. But beneath "their" plate, the viewer finds love! This beautiful routine is described in detail. The required forcing board can be found in the templates. There are also suggestions for making props that can transform this trick into a micromagical treasure.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0514/1980/7926/products/ESP_d1b4db5e-00c6-49a0-848f-19e7f7d44f91.jpg?v=1640263878
jaks-perkeo
JAKS | Perkeo

The book reflects the life of Herbert Siegbert Jaks , follows him, always briefly embedded in the events of the time, from stage to stage of life, shows the person, the graphic artist, the table magician and the mentalist, lets him have his say in his public and private letters, his descriptions of effects and thoughts and the comments of contemporary witnesses, repeatedly illustrated with well-known and unknown photos and documents.

The book presents Over 100 effects and routines, in their original form, in variations, and in afterthoughts .
