What is a comedy prop anyway?

A comedy prop is an object that was invented, conceived, created, or manufactured with the sole function of making someone laugh.

This book intentionally omits large-scale props such as collapsible stairs, cars that break apart, props that require trapdoors on the stage, or props that are beyond the capabilities of a normal performer in terms of construction or application.
