This is a classic all-purpose tool for making coins, rings or other small objects disappear and then conjuring them up again somewhere else.
The coin goes into the wooden box. You shake the box, and you hear the coin rattling inside. In reality, however, it has already disappeared.
Actually, it doesn't rattle anymore...
Viking's Deluxe Walnut Rattle Box is the finest made anywhere.
The performer asks for the loan of a coin (or ring, etc.). The coin is marked and dropped into a neat hardwood box which is shaken to prove the object is still inside the box. This is handed to the spectator who is told to place one hand under the box and the other on top to prevent anyone from reaching the contents.
The performer then produces a second box (Our Quarter Go Box, Brass Nested Boxes or any other container you care to use). This is placed in full view.
Finally the performer asks for the Rattle Box which is shaken again to prove the item is still within the box. and at the peformer's command, 1-2-3, the rattling sound stops abruptly and the spectator is allowed to immediately open the box only to find that the contents have vanished!
