14 eerie stories (one does not appear in the table of contents) written by Borodin and Perkeo, each of which is the background to a mental or bizarre effect.
You can embed the experiments in the themes of lucid dreams, Nostradamus' Centuries, or deja vu—experiences in which past events repeat themselves—the "reincarnation of deeds and fates." Some of the effects gain their special impact by having your fellow players take on the roles of characters from the stories.
The story you want to celebrate can be chosen by the other player from the table of contents or pre-marked with a bookmark. Or you can simply have them open something and...

The stories and the effects:
1 The Menetekel - a ghost writing "appears" on a map
2 The Hand on the Bridge – a spectator in a historical role shuffles the same Tarot cards that are shuffled in the story
3 Thirteen - In an eerie story, a spectator's shuffle sorts the game
4 The Cardsharp's Urn - a special kind of poker game, the protagonist wins as described in the story, the remains of his winning hand are found in the ashes of his urn
5 The Dream – a song/poem in which a shuffled tarot card is described
6 The Memory of Things – three spectators find their belongings in three small boxes, just as they are written down…
7 At the Limits of Time – a spectator messes up a deck of cards in an incredible way with incredible degrees of freedom and yet the result of his actions is in this story
8 Rock Paper Scissors – the well-known betting game and the outcome is already here 9 The Words of the Violin – a book test built into this story
10 Knowledge about the Lybe of Mannsbild and Wyb - a Tarot routine that determines whether a couple is compatible with each other
11 Russian Roulette – a spectator reads a passage aloud, and the reading is arranged on the table. They do not let go of the book while the arrangement is being changed. When they turn to the page again and read the passage again, the text has also changed accordingly.
12 Forward into the past – a new version of my contribution in the last “Überraum” of Punx
… The Witch’s Curse – a story that does not appear in the table of contents and only serves to hide something
13 He – a card variant of Borodin’s most impressive story

For the demonstration you may need a poker or tarot deck, small boxes, etc.
