| A transparent die has yellow dots on all six sides. Suddenly, the dots turn blue. This can be done "freehand" or under the cover of a cloth, whose color is "taken over" by the dots on the die. Magiro's Transparent Dice is one of the most beautiful tricks of modern illusion. It was first described in the "Magic World" in 1973. The actual effect, however, is very short. Therefore, today we offer you a trick kit that allows for a longer performance, includes a ride-on effect, and is easy to perform (although not surrounded). You show a crystal-clear, yellow-dotted cube (4 cm side length). Then you place a (yellow) tube over it, turn the whole thing over, and show the cube again. Now it's blue. Repeat this: blue becomes yellow, and so on. Since you didn't show the tube empty beforehand, some viewers suspected that there were two dice in play, and that's why you turned the tube over before each transformation. "You're right, there are two cubes. Here's the second one." With these words, you lift a second (blue) tube, and a second cube appears underneath. You now show the first tube empty, and the second one is, of course, empty as well. We can't list the entire range of possible effects here. But you've probably noticed that you can also move the cubes from one tube to the other, and even from top to bottom (when both cubes are stacked on top of each other in a tube). Just a quick note: The tubes are flexible, so a cube can be clamped in place with light pressure. (Gag effect: The cube floats in the tube.) Magiro's Transparent Dice come in a set with two dice and two tubes, along with detailed instructions. You can also purchase a single cube with edge lengths of 4 or 9 cm. Detailed instructions with five demonstration versions are also included. Please order these in the following offer fields! |
