This issue contains three lessons on quite different topics.
Lesson 32 is dedicated to "ghost lights," which can be created in dark rooms using fluorescent colors. You'll learn about astonishing effects and will thus be able to conjure mysterious ghostly apparitions, for example, during a séance.
In Lesson 33, Harlan Tarbell introduces you to three illusions that are easy to perform and whose props can be purchased inexpensively. "The Secret of King Tutankhamun" and "Who and Which" are person-swapping illusions, while in "Three Kings and a Queen," the queen appears from three giant cards arranged in a folding screen.
The tricks in Lesson 33A were introduced by Karl Fulves for the Tarbell Course in Magic. They involve mental-magical experiments such as predictions, influences, and revelations. Naturally, Karl Fulves' preferred prop is a deck of cards. Among other things, you'll also learn the famous Si Stebbins card-laying system.
