The magician isn't a comedian, but first and foremost a magician, but when he spices up his tricks with witty language and creates comical situations, he not only amazes his audience, but also makes them laugh. You'll love him for it!
There are not many tricks that meet the selection criteria that led to the compilation of the routines presented here:

Such tricks are rare gems, such as Wayne Dobson's magnificent routine ECHO, which we have already published elsewhere.
First, we present “The Fastest Card Trick in the World” by Joe Karson, and second, Alexander de Cova’s routine “A Queen Conjures.”
This is followed by Mike Porstmann's "Switchgame," another masterpiece for speech magicians. This compilation is rounded off with a collection of many gags that (or could) fit these routines.
Taken together, you have a great source of material that you can practice directly and use as it was originally written. You can also use the three original routines and the gags as a building block and put together a comedy magic routine specifically for you and your performance situation.
You'll learn what this means and how it works with the following two routines, "Tina Does Magic" and "Hans and Anne Get Their Chance." These build on the first three routines and have been enhanced with quips from the gag collection: the result is a veritable firework of surprises and funny situations involving the audience.
