| Children and clowns are upside down... |
| Mr. Red and Mr. Blue work as clowns in the circus. They show a large, brightly printed, four-color card (approx. 16.5 x 30 cm). One side shows Mr. Red, the other side shows Mr. Blue. “I can do more than you,” says Mr. Red, “I can do a headstand.” If you now turn the card over, the red clown will actually be standing on his head. "I can do that too!" says Mr. Blue, - and indeed, now he, too, is standing on his head. "But I can do something you can't," says Mr. Red, "namely, magic." "I don't believe that," says Mr. Blue. "Yes, I can magic myself away," says Mr. Red... To make it short (because you have probably already recognized the possibilities this trick offers): Suddenly the blue clown has disappeared, and where he was, the children only see his white silhouette. > But then, surprisingly, he peeks out from the map again! The children loudly point it out to you, but when you look, the blue clown is already gone. Finally, you catch him (the blue one). But now, all of a sudden, Mr. Red has disappeared. "Mr. Blue is here," you say, turning around searchingly, "but where is Mr. Red?" "He's hanging on your back!" the children yell. --- Indeed, it is! |
