Many years ago, we made a few examples of these magic tables, and they sold out in no time. Since then, we haven't had time to make them again, and since we're planning a lot of new things in the near future, we won't get around to it anytime soon. Therefore, we've decided to offer this prop as a blueprint. This gives anyone the opportunity to make it themselves very cheaply (just the low cost of the materials). And if someone has no crafting skills at all (you don't need much), any carpenter they find can construct the magic table for them for very little money, based on our very precise and detailed plans. The very first model was made by Astor using a very simple fretsaw, which alone proves how easy it is to complete this table.
This is what the audience sees: The magician enters the stage (stalls, podium, living room, etc.) with a newspaper under his arm. He has nothing else with him. He snaps his fingers once, and at that moment, a magic table appears next to him! Yes, a real, 'full-grown' magic table, made of solid wood (!), 85 cm high, and the tabletop measures 40 x 40 cm. The table appears without any effort on the part of the magician; he only needs to loosen his elbow a little, and there he is, a solid, stable magic table, which he can use throughout his entire performance as what it truly is: a magic table.
If you're a bit taller than a garden gnome, and if you're wearing a slightly wider costume, you don't even need a newspaper. You simply walk up to the audience empty-handed, clap your hands once (yes, you really don't need to do anything else), and there you have it, a beautiful magic table, and no one will have noticed where it came from. And you do it all, surrounded by people and under all conditions!
We can reveal the secret: Although the table is made of wood (plywood), it folds down to a very small size, measuring 40 x 40 x 3 cm! You simply let go and it springs open by itself. Thanks to its ingenious design, it's so stable you could sit on it! And all this without any complicated mechanisms! You really don't need anything else to build it except some plywood, some ordinary hinges, a small metal ring, a strong rubber band, and some paint to decorate it! You'll learn the 'how?' from our excellent construction plans. These aren't sketches or sparse explanations, but genuine technical drawings, with detailed instructions, technical descriptions, and a parts list (as you'd expect from Astor).
You need a magic table to store your supplies on, right? Why not just get an apparition? (It's also easier to transport!) Perhaps you'd like to build two for yourself?
