Effekt: Sie legen eine kleine Walnussbox mit Mahagonideckel und eine Stahlkugel, sowie eine Spiel- oder Visitenkarte auf den Tisch. – Die Zuschauer sehen, dass sich im Deckel und im Boden der Box ein Loch befindet, durch welches man die Kugel hindurchfallen lassen kann. – Weisen Sie darauf hin, dass dies unmöglich sei, wenn man nun eine Spielkarte (Visitenkarte) in die Box hineinlegt. Die Zuschauer können sich gern davon überzeugen und es ausprobieren. Es ist wirklich unmöglich!

The magician displays a slim walnut box with a sliding lid. The box is handed out to a spectator for examination and when opened they find a regular playing card inside. The card is also examined before its replaced in the box and the lid is shut.
The spectator places a marble in the hole in the lid and slowly the marble visually melts through the card, eventually dropping out the bottom into his waiting hand! Immediately, the walnut box, marble and card may be examined.
