I have always been a huge fan of the pencil melting through a bill. It just looks so magical. Alan has taken this effect to another level, with a new gimmick, a new method and a totally new handling.

This uses a GENUINE SHARPIE. The VERY same sharpie you can use throughout your performance to have cards signed etc.

There are NO SLOTS, NO SLITS, NO SHELLS. The sharpie is FULLY EXAMINABLE, NO SWITCH.

Borrow any bill, have the bill signed with a sharpie. Wrap the bill around the sharpie, show the Sharpie INSIDE the bill. The Sharpie slowly and visually melts through the signed bill. This looks GREAT. Everything can be examined immediately after the effect.

A BRAND NEW HANDLING & METHOD!

- Roddy McGhie

"A beautifully visual piece of magic that can be examined and used as part of your every day carry. Alan has knocked it out of the park again with a stunning piece of magic."
- Matthew Parrot

"Like it's creator, The Pen Thing is devilishly brilliant. It is one of the very few non-card items I keep on me when I am performing."
- Peter McLanachan
