Cammeos have a rich history originating back to Egypt in 15,000 BC where petroglyphs were carved into the rock to record events. The cammeo (or Cameo) is a jewel made through engraving stratified stone or shell.

Collectors appreciate the rare art of Cammeo sculpting, which craftsmen techniques have been handed down for generations in Torre del Greco a Naples, Italy.

As rare as this skill, Cammeo Playing Cards will be just as collectable. Each of the 1,500 decks have a numbered seal.

Inspired by the age-old tradition of fine craftsmen and carvers; every detail of Cammeo Playing Cards has been thoughtfully drawn and painstakingly created.

The backs have intertwining rings and hourglasses documenting the passage of time and dedication it takes to engrave the intricate facial features and individual curls surrounding the beautiful cameo faces.

Every card has been spectacularly overhauled with actual Cammeo artists' artwork used for the faces. The court cards have spectacular color and detail.

Every aspect of these cards from the pips to the indices and even the boarders are astonishing.
