Lesson 103

Earning money with magic

This lesson concludes the Tarbell Course in Magic. It covers marketing for magicians, promotion, and publicity—essentially, how to skillfully market yourself and your skills so that magic also proves to be economically viable.

Even though tools and methods have changed rapidly over the past hundred years, the tips, advice, and guidance provided by Harlan Tarbell remain timeless and relevant.

A concluding section is dedicated to the marketing strategy for the Tarbell Course itself. The appendix then briefly outlines the possibilities of marketing in the digital age. And after all the theory, there are even a few interesting descriptions of tricks from Harlan Tarbell's practice.
