This routine is ideal for table hopping:
- it falls out of the frame
- it can be interrupted at any time and still ends with a climax
- the audience is the focus and there is a lot of magic
- and the best part: The spectators are cheering loudly for their football stars from their own ranks.
The performer promptly declares the audience's table to be a soccer field and announces that an exciting soccer match is about to begin. Small balls appear, disappear, and multiply, eventually enlarging or being smashed flat. At the end, the flat ball visually "inflates" and transforms into a fist-sized soccer ball.
