One spectator receives an envelope, another a deck of ( BICYCLE ) cards. A second deck of cards is presented with the well-shuffled picture sides, and a third spectator is asked, completely uninfluenced, to name a number from 1 to 52.
If the player says, for example, “27”, twenty-six cards are counted onto the table and the 27th is shown to everyone.
The second spectator now looks for the identical card in his deck, but doesn't find it. When the first spectator opens his envelope, he finds the missing card!
