Alexander de Cova is a professional, so he often performs in front of large audiences. He has developed a variety of routines for these performances, all of which he shares in this 5-part DVD series.

Part 1:
"The Communicating Scarves" is based on the classic "Goldin's Scarves Trick" and requires only four scarves. You place two of them separately on the table and tie the other two together. Suddenly, the scarves just placed individually on the table are knotted together, while the two previously knotted scarves are free! This continues until all four scarves are knotted together!

Anyone who knows Alexander de Cova knows that he's also a very skilled manipulator. In his "Giant Coin Magic," you'll learn some tricks, feints, and vanishing techniques with giant coins that have never been seen on videotape before.

All in all, two complete routines with giant coins where the coins appear, disappear, multiply, etc.

"My Rope Cutting" is a very clever rope trick based on an idea by Jim Steinmeyer. You tie one end of the rope to the microphone stand, and the spectator holds the other. You walk along the rope with a knife, and the spectator is allowed to say "stop" at any point. You cut the rope at exactly this point – the four ends are now clearly visible – and yet, a little magic... and the rope is whole again! It can be presented for examination immediately – it's completely unprepared!

For "The Unreal Card Raiser" (the absolute highlight of this volume, which, incidentally, was also featured in a "David Copperfield TV Show"), you only need a drawing pad, a deck of cards, and a felt-tip pen to achieve the following effect: The spectator chooses a card, memorizes it, and puts it in their pocket. You then "read" the spectator's thoughts and draw a picture of the card on the pad. But your psychic powers seem to have failed you – it's the wrong card. But that doesn't matter, because after you've drawn a deck of cards in a glass around the card with a few strokes, the correct card emerges as a drawing from the deck, which is also only a drawing! The special twist is that the drawing sheet is then torn off and given to the spectator to take home as a souvenir.

Duration approx. 1 hour
