With approximately 80 additional pages, the Perkeo book significantly surpasses the scope of its predecessors. More was definitely not possible. Therefore, some of the more extensive chapters were "outsourced," as the saying goes.
The first is the guillotine, which accompanied Perkeo throughout his magical career. This book describes the development of a routine that became a masterpiece of comedic magic entertainment. After a performance in the Altheim magic cellar by Mosche Karlo (Karlo Reichel), Stephan Kirschbaum admits that the guillotine is his most hated magic effect of all, but that he hasn't enjoyed it so much in a long time.
This book (paperback, 56 pages, A5) presents the complete routine with speech and all details, including a whole arsenal of well-known and lesser-known gags and remarks and various anecdotes, illustrated with 20 photos, drawings and documents.
In addition, the historical background of both the gruesome beheading model and the magic prop are traced. And, of course, tribute is paid to Joro, whose name is inextricably linked to the magic guillotine.
