Roberto Giobbi is a Swiss magician, seminar leader, and author. He has published over 50 books in six languages. His "Great Card School" is considered the standard work on playing card magic worldwide. As a magician, you can't ignore this work—it's one of the few textbooks with a didactically structured approach. His "Roberto Light" series is particularly recommended for beginners to playing card magic. In 1988 and 1991, he won second prize in the card magic category at the FISM World Championships, and in 2015, he was awarded the FISM Special Prize for Services to Theory and Philosophy in Magic.
