Ring on the champagne glass | Werry

You borrow (for example) a diamond ring and drop it into a champagne glass. Next, you borrow a wedding ring and also drop it into the glass.

The owner of the diamond ring now chooses one of the rings (for example, she chooses her own). They then make a sudden movement with the glass, and something quite incredible happens:

The wedding ring visibly penetrates the glass and slides onto its stem, completely enclosing it!

Immediately hand the glass to the spectator, who can examine it to her heart's content. Then tip the ring that remains in the glass into the woman's hand.

Finally, free the wedding ring from the glass stem by simply pulling it off, throw it back into the champagne flute, and tip it into the owner's hand.

Please note the following positive points: Neither the champagne flute nor the rings are covered with a cloth at any time! The glass is on the table from the beginning! There's no need to fiddle with the glass under cover before presenting it! The champagne glass can be reused again and again! The effect is surrounded and can be performed at close range!

Please also note the points you might consider negative: You are not allowed to wear a very light jacket for the presentation. A patterned or dark jacket is ideal!
