A card is chosen and returned to the game.
You fold a handkerchief and place the deck of cards on it. The chosen deck should penetrate both the deck and the handkerchief.
But the trick doesn’t work.
They apologize and try again. This one also fails.
“It’s the cards – not the right quality, apparently ,” you comment on your mishap.
They think for a moment, then look into the folds of the cloth and find the chosen card. It has penetrated the deck, but only partially into the cloth, where it has become stuck.
"Excuse me, poor card quality..." you shake the card out of the cloth and onto the table. It's suddenly blank !
Now the paint has come off, sorry...” You unfold the cloth, and the picture side of the card is visible.
Everything can be examined immediately.
