| They present a small, rectangular disc with strange symbols on it: “FIXODISC - the two-dimensional clairvoyant ball!” Then have a spectator choose three cards from a deck of cards, which they keep with them. You place the clairvoyant disc on their flat, outstretched hand, stare at it, and after some hesitation, name one of the chosen cards! Now turn to a viewer: “Would you like to try it yourself? - Very good - do you notice anything special about FIXODISC? - No? Place the disc in the palm of your hand, focus your gaze on the circular area, and tell us what you see.” To the great astonishment of all spectators, the spectator, after some hesitation, says the name of the second chosen card! A third person is allowed to examine the disc and also place it in their palm. And as unbelievable as it may sound, this person is able to name the third card they chose after about 10 seconds!
