The snake rope

They have a card drawn and shuffled back into the deck. Then the deck is thrown into a container.

They now grasp a rope and declare that it contains not only life but also intelligence.

You let one end of the magic rope slide into the container - and when you pull it back up, it has coiled like a snake around the card the spectator chose.

When Werry first offered his snake rope in 1952, he had no idea that he had created a classic that would be immediately replicated in Germany and soon after throughout the world. The creative contribution of subsequent inventors, however, was limited to the naming.
