This 1997 gathering was actually planned as a one-time event as part of the Ettenheim Cultural Autumn under the motto "Madness, Meaning, and Reality." However, the concept was so well-received that the participants immediately asked for the following year's date at the farewell ceremony. And so, for four years, three-day gatherings were held, characterized by exceptional harmony and creativity, until various unforeseeable scandals brought the event to an abrupt end on the fifth year.
After each meeting, the participants, and only they, receive a "memory booklet" containing results, routines, reports, and more, which is subject to a five-year embargo. This embargo has now lasted for over 20 years. Publication as part of the Perkeo book would have completely exceeded its scope, so a summary of the four booklets is now being published after "Christine Guillot" as the second "outsourcing" issue.
The core elements of these meetings, in addition to the special setting and atmosphere, were a “(morning) seminar of a different kind,” the (afternoon) “creative block,” in which ideas were worked on and effects and routines were shown to one another, and the (public) “Mental Magic Night.”
