Manfred Zöllner's crazy clothespins

You show three miniature clothespins (from your daughter's dollhouse). It's clearly visible that there are three of them ("There are always three!"). You place one of them on your closed left fist. Only two clothespins remain in your right hand, clearly visible. You give the command to move and—abracadabra—hold two clothespins on your left hand; plus one from your right hand, making three ("There are...").

Now place two clamps on your left fist, open your hand, and there are three again.

Now you put one of the clips in your pocket. Then you open your left fist—of course, there are three again!

Once again, a clip in the pocket, and - the audience already guessed it - in the left hand are again three miniature clips, but this time the mother of the baby clips has joined them!

Today's world is thirsting for sleight of hand! And the ideal trick can be performed at any time, without difficulty or preparation. It shouldn't require hours of practice, and the props should fit in any pocket. Ideally, everyday objects are used. Such an effect must always amaze a small audience, even spontaneously. It should be possible to perform it standing, sitting, and, if necessary, lying down. We've put together just such a trick for you!

---

Oh yes: If you don't like clothespins, then try peas or beans (" My mother always said: Boy, don't put beans in your ears..." )
