The Austrian artist GERRY – whose real name is GERHARDSCHARNBÖCK – is one of the best dice stackers of our time. "What is dice stacking?" some of you may now ask. It's "the art of stacking dice on top of each other under a cup."
In other words: The artist places, for example, four dice on a table, then scoops them up one by one using a cup that he swings back and forth in the air above the dice, places the cup on the table, and when he finally lifts it up again, all the dice are stacked on top of each other in a tower!
Of course, that's just the basic effect. But what Gerry demonstrates and explains in detail on this DVD goes far beyond that!
You will learn various shooting techniques, such as how to make additional and differently colored dice appear under the cups, how to stack 12 or more dice on top of each other (think of "Wetten, dass..."), and how to demonstrate dice stacking with toilet paper rolls, playing cards, business cards, and the like.
Or how to do the whole thing in the air on your hand or on your leg, as well as lots of gags and interludes, funny magic effects, which dice and cups are suitable (Gerry himself usually uses a slightly modified, empty Coca Cola can as a cup) and so on and so forth.
