Stefan Olschewski: "MES(S)MERIZE – An incredible prediction"
Stefan Olschewski's new manuscript is much more than just a mental trick. "Mes(s)merize" is a brand-new application of an ingenious principle that helps you make your performance more lively, personal, and interactive. The audience experiences an EXTREMELY CLEAR prediction of ANY thought. Each individual is involved in the effect, which is sure to impress even on the largest stage:
A transparent wine glass sits in full view on a table in the center of the stage, containing a black envelope containing a prediction. Before or during the show, the audience is asked to concentrate on a single thought, write it on a card, and seal it in an opaque envelope. They can write literally whatever they want; there's no coercion involved.
At your command, everyone throws their envelopes onto the stage at once. A randomly selected audience member chooses one of these envelopes completely freely (again, NO force!). Let's assume the thought inside is "ICE CREAM": The audience member takes the prediction out of the jar and opens it. She reads the prediction out loud: It matches the freely chosen thought!
But now comes the grand FINALE: The viewer is asked to unfold the paper ball with which she was randomly selected from the audience. It reads: "Tonight, an attractive young lady named Anke is thinking about ICE CREAM!"
