The basics of magic
The Bamberg family, originally from the Netherlands, holds a very special record in the art of magic: they have produced seven generations of magicians in an unbroken succession.
Jasper Bamberg , an alchemist and necromancer, began the tradition of raising his firstborn son as a magician. His descendants included court magicians and world-traveling performers, each among the most famous and renowned artists of their time. All were inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Society of American Magicians (SAM ).
Harlan Tarbell pays tribute to this family dynasty in this lesson.
