Harlan Tarbell is known for his penchant for props with an oriental touch . In many photos, he can be seen posing in this style, wearing a turban.

In this lesson, he once again spreads out his carpet from the Arabian Nights and introduces you to such astonishing things as upward-rolling balls and the Hindu grain jug . He devotes himself in detail to the classic Chinese string rod and a simple yet astonishing trick involving gold and silver Chinese coins . Also quite unique is the miracle of the rice bowl , which transforms a paper ball first into an egg, then into a frog, and finally into a chick.

All in all, Harlan Tarbell once again ignites a firework of exotic-looking effects, for which he also provides the fireworks (Tarbell's brilliant fireworks).
