For Harlan Tarbell, the most important prop for comedy in magic is the egg! He proves this in this lesson with four detailed routines. Eggs are broken and then immediately whole again. Eggs disappear and reappear somewhere else entirely. Then he even "explains" how it's done, but in the end, the audience is just as clued in as before.

In the first two routines, Harlan Tarbell focuses on the "unbreakable egg," then he moves on to the famous egg bag, describing his own personal routine and a surprising variation by Percy Abbott, in which the egg bag in the performer's hand transforms into an egg, and the egg in his pocket transforms into the egg bag.

The egg sack is a so-called "ride-on" trick and is of the highest quality. It is recommended to anyone who wants to make their audience laugh.

Of course, all routines include a detailed presentation peppered with many gags.
