When Joe Wildon's 14 mental programs were published decades ago, they immediately achieved cult status. They were sold individually as mimeographed booklets. All together, they were available at a special price of 105 DM.
They have now been reissued, and you receive the Mental Programs as a complete hardcover edition, newly edited and illustrated with many drawings that were not originally included.
Also as a bonus: The Living Telephone Book.

Hardcover 17x24 cm, 180 pages with numerous illustrations

When Joe Wildon published his first mentalism programs in the 1950s, there was nothing comparable in German. While English-language standard works on mentalism already existed, they were very difficult to obtain from Germany.
While Joseph Dunninger and Theodore Annemann had already enjoyed great success as mentalists in America since the mid-1920s, mental magic was still in its infancy in Germany 30 years later. One of the first to perform mental magic effects in Germany was Punx .
At about the same time as the Englishman Tony Corinda , who published his thoughts on mental magic in 13 English-language booklets as the “13 Steps to Mental Magic”, Joe Wildon wrote his first mental programs.
A total of thirteen programs were broadcast until the early 1970s. The series concluded with Mental Program XIV in 1981. Wildon's mental programs were considered the best German-language programs available on the market at that time and achieved cult status.

The mental programs are offered as hectographed brochures in DIN A4 format at prices ranging from DM 7.00 to DM 14.00 and are advertised with the following words:
"Mentalism is the most attractive and modern form of magic of our time! Nothing fascinates and astonishes audiences more today than reading the thoughts of complete strangers, making predictions that come true, and demonstrating 'supernatural powers.' And all without 'magic devices' or any recognizable aids of any kind...
Here you cross the threshold from 'illusion artist' to apparently 'real magician' who does things that cannot be explained even in the age of perfected technology and computers.
Can you do it too? – You can! We guarantee it. Because today we're offering you Joe Wildon's world-famous mental programs. You can perform each program immediately. All programs complement each other. The complete collection is the absolute best there is in this field. Give it a try, and your success as a mentalist will multiply in just a few days.

This complete collection has now been newly edited and typeset. The text remains unchanged, but some explanatory footnotes have been added, and suitable illustrations from Joe Wildon's client publications have been included to lighten the text. To ensure these illustrations fit into their new surroundings, minor details in some illustrations have been modified to reflect their context.
In addition, applications for some relevant props from Joe Wildon's sales program and their instructions were included.

The mental programs conclude with a bonus book, “The Living Telephone Book,” which was distributed as a standalone instruction from 1966 onwards.
