| Five decades ago, one of the finest pieces of micromagic went viral under the name CHINK-A-CHINK. Fred Kaps popularized the effect in Europe, and Werry marketed his version with four conical bolts. It’s still as good today as it was back then: Four bolts are placed on the table so that they form a square. You present your hands perfectly empty, then cover one bolt with your right hand and another with your left. When you raise your hands, the right bolt disappears under your left hand and reaches the other bolt under your right! Repeat this until all bolts have moved under your right hand. |
