A borrowed banknote is pierced with a pencil, then the performer tears the note in half, but suddenly the banknote is whole again.
The magician then folds the banknote into a "V" shape and inserts the pencil into the fold. The pencil slowly and visibly penetrates the banknote. The magician returns the banknote to the spectator, and it has no holes or cuts. The trick can be learned in a short time.
Similar effect to Timothy Wenk's "Misled"—only much easier to perform. The pen cannot be examined directly; a replacement pen is included.
