Excellent craftsmanship, a sophisticated trick secret, and an incredible magical effect characterize this piece of art from COLLECTOR'S WORKSHOP.

Recently, a team of archaeologists from the famous British Museum made a discovery in a small town in the Himalayas that was quickly recognized as proof of the legend of the ring and the lantern.

It is said that the lantern was used by women whose husbands were away for extended periods. It was filled with a mixture of animal fats and lit as a sign of perpetual vigilance and the hope of a safe return. It is also written that, as a sign of their commitment, the wife presented her husband with a precious ring on the day of his departure. The gift was an outward sign of her fervent hope for his happiness and safe return. All she had to do was light the lantern herself.

However, fate was not on the man's side and one night the woman suddenly woke up to find that the lantern had gone out.

Inside was the golden ring. Now she knew her husband would not return. The lantern was never lit again; it housed the ring for the rest of time.

Whether you enjoy this more poetic presentation or prefer a more direct demonstration, this is what happens at CREATION!:

In exchange for their ring, a spectator receives a small golden cage suspended between two chains. The performer makes the ring disappear. They receive the cage back and thread a piece of tissue paper over one of the chains so that the upper part of the cage is encased in it. The spectator lights a match, lighting the paper. At the same instant the paper burns in a single flash, the spectator's ring appears visibly inside the cage. The performer unscrews the cage in the middle and returns the ring to the spectator.

CREATION! is a perfect close-up feat: it can be easily performed in a cage and requires no preparation. The device is made of brass. The cage is approximately 10 cm long and has a diameter of approximately 4.5 cm.

CREATION is delivered without pyro paper!

Creation (A Collectors' Workshop Original) is one of those 'once in a lifetime' inventions developed by Rich Bloch and Nick Rugierro. The thinking behind this fabulous and beautiful effect is inspired to say the least.

We are very proud to continue the tradition established by these two wildly inventive people but adding our finishing touches to this wonderful now classic effect. Please note that we have improved the chain connections, which now avoids the problems of the chain breaking as in the original. This one improvement will extend the life of this effect exponentially. The 22k gold plating also keeps the finish bright and clean for many years.

EFFECT: The performer displays a beautiful brass cage, which he calls a Tibetan Prayer Lantern (or any name that will fit your style of performing). He then asks for the loan of a ring. The ring is placed inside a small wooden box, which is retained by the spectator.

A 'prayer sheet' is now pushed onto the chain that supports the lantern, which just covers the top of the lantern. The performer asks for the loan of the box, which contains the ring; he recites a silent incantation as he carefully shakes the box.

Suddenly the rattle sound emanating from the box stops. The box is returned to the spectator who is asked to open the box, which is now found to be empty.

The spectator is asked to touch the prayer paper to the flame of a candle, which causes the paper to burst into flames. Instantly and visibly, the vanished, borrowed ring appears sealed INSIDE the brass lantern.

It is impossible to remove the ring from inside the lantern unless the lower chain is removed, and the cage sections are unscrewed. A truly IMPOSSIBLE transposition.

Note: You do not need a Rattle Box to disappear the ring; we supply you with a sleight of hand method that works well.
