The Obedient Orange | VIKING

This effect proves that oranges obey your every command!
You thread one of these sweet fruits (it's fine to borrow one) onto a ribbon using a large needle. The needle is set aside, and now the orange can follow the law of gravity and slide down the ribbon.

You pick up the orange again and let it slide down the belt again.

But this time you shout “Stop” and the orange immediately stops and only continues its rapid downward journey when you give it permission!

This can be repeated as often as you like and will work even if your audience calls “Stop.”

Finally, throw the orange into the audience and collect your applause coins - or the well-deserved applause.

You have to contribute the orange yourself (or better: borrow it).
