The PHOENIX CLOCK can be used as a standalone effect or as an introduction to another trick that requires a clock. The presentation could look like this:

The performer shows the audience his gold pocket watch, which is a so-called skeleton watch that has a glass on both sides so that one could see the clockwork at work, if... yes, if there were one inside!!!

Instead of a movement, the clock contains only a multitude of individual parts: gears, springs, screws and other things.

It was particularly cheap, the performer apologizes, and wraps the clock in a velvet cloth. Through a slit in the cloth, he pulls out the clock's eyelet and attaches a watch chain to it. A spectator grasps the chain and lets the clock swing freely. After murmuring his favorite magic spell, the performer grasps a corner of the cloth and pulls it off the clock:
This is now completely intact and it also shows the exact time!
