The mysterious key
This is one of the most unusual "supernatural" effects offered on the "magic" market. Its origins date back to the 1950s and 1960s (its exact origins are unknown to the author of these lines, although we suspect that Anverdi may have been the inventor).
This key is George Robinson's version of this mysterious prop. It eliminates several drawbacks that could occur with previous versions of the key, such as excessive noise, unwanted movement, and difficulty adjusting the secret mechanism. Furthermore, the key cannot rust because it is made of brass.
A large antique brass key is presented, and an unusual ghost story is told. It is demonstrated that it is a normal key. The key bit and the handle are parallel, so the key can be inserted into the lock even in complete darkness... But as the story progresses, the key bit twists... - by a ghostly hand?
Only this one key is used. Nothing needs to be added or removed. Thanks to its secret mechanism, the key works by itself. It can be examined closely; your spectators won't discover anything.
You will receive the approximately 11 cm large brass key in a matching wooden coffin with red velvet lining.
You will also receive a four-page, A4-sized German-language instruction manual with the gruesome ghost story in which "life comes into the key."
