They hand a spectator a small bag containing five brass rods, each marked with a different colored ring numbered 1 to 5. The spectator also receives a brass box with a screw lid, which fits exactly one rod.
As you turn away, the spectator places any stick into the box and closes it. The spectator also closes the pouch so you can't tell which stick the spectator has chosen.
But as soon as you hold the container in your hands, you can tell which stick is inside.
All props are made of solid brass. A sophisticated, precision-engineered marvel!
