From the foreword by Nick Trost:
This book contains the four-part series "The Tricks of the Gamblers" with tricks that deal with gambling and cheating:• Playing Cards Part 1 and Part 2, • Dice and • Swindles.
This book was written for magicians who want to learn about such tricks and techniques and incorporate them into their programs.
Stewart Judah greatly appreciated gambler tricks, and many of his favorite effects are included. There are also routines by myself and others that have not been published before. Only those tricks and gambles have been included that have strong entertainment value and can be presented at the table.
Dice tricks immediately capture the attention of spectators, and the collection in Part 3 offers you many fascinating options that you can use to build an entertaining dice routine.
Two of the highlights of this book are Karl Norman's Shell Game routine in Part 4 and Dennie Flynn's previously unpublished Chain Pull routine. I owe thanks to both for permission to describe them. I hope you enjoy them.
