Henning Köhlert, a retired high school teacher and passionate magician, has undertaken numerous journeys on container ships. He recounts his voyages across the world's oceans in books and lectures.

Magic always plays a major role on these voyages, both on board and during his shore excursions. The author and magician describes and explains the most interesting stories, the most enigmatic puzzles, and the most astonishing magic tricks in this magical booklet.

All texts, even if they are somewhat fictional or adapted for effect, are based in some way on experiences on the cargo ship voyages or have their origins there. For Henning Köhlert, behind every story lie further experiences connected to the place, person, or situation. This is how he gets ideas for his presentations. Do you, too?
