The matchstick suspension offered Werry around 60 years ago in his main catalogue No. 3 with the following words:

From today's perspective, we would like to add: You should first practice the effect thoroughly with an unlit match, because it is not easy to handle.
You're not allowed to wear light-colored clothing, and in good lighting, you should stay at least two meters away from your audience. In dim bar lighting, people can be closer.
Cannot be demonstrated in a circle and unsuitable for beginners.
