Helmut Schreiber-KALANAG - a German career

A richly illustrated biography of the best-known and most famous German magician of the 20th century, in which the dark side of his life story is not spared .
 16-page color brochure in 15.5 x 23.5 cm format.

The matchstick suspension offered Werry around 60 years ago in his main catalogue No. 3 with the following words:

"The magician borrows a matchbox, takes out a match, and strikes it. He then places the burning stick upright on the box. Strangely, it doesn't fall over. Suddenly, it even rises into the air and floats freely in space. Then it slowly descends back onto the box."

From today's perspective, we would like to add: You should first practice the effect thoroughly with an unlit match, because it is not easy to handle.

You're not allowed to wear light-colored clothing, and in good lighting, you should stay at least two meters away from your audience. In dim bar lighting, people can be closer.

Cannot be demonstrated in a circle and unsuitable for beginners.

If you are not put off by these statements, then Werrys  Matchstick Float is the right thing for you and will be an absolute blast in your hands.
