A spectator freely names any number from 1 to 24 and counts the 24 printed ESP symbols (the five different ones in random order) on a board until they reach the corresponding symbol. And this is forced! Such boards were sold in Italy years ago. Now they are being offered to the German-speaking magic market by Perkeo in more manageable formats and with a significant design improvement.
With this Principle booklet you will receive two pairs of boards in two sizes, for the stage in the format 29.7 x 29.7 cm (edge length A4), grooved in the middle for folding, and for close-up use in the format 21 x 21 cm (edge width A4), made of 350 g chromo-sulfate board (Mellotex), laminated on both sides.
With one board, you can force one ESP symbol, and with the second, two others, one after the other. Yes, really, with the second board, you can force two different ESP symbols one after the other, in any order you choose, using two freely named audience numbers, without swapping the board, flipping anything over, or setting anything aside. The booklet also includes templates for three more forcing boards, including one that can force four different symbols.
The use of the tablets is described in connection with a mental epic effect, for which this force was originally created. You will also find the "game show" from Perkeo's current program, in which a viewer gets his money back thanks to these tablets. Their use as a brain-viewing device, with the help of which a viewer determines which ESP symbols two others have pocketed, is mysterious and entertaining. It becomes magical and spooky when a viewer is led in their dream to five "gravestones" into which five different symbols are "carved." They freely choose an hour and decide whether it is morning or evening. They count both times on a "symbol plate" and thus find two gravestone symbols. First, the three other plates are turned over. One sees a snake, a toad, and a skull. Then comes the plate that was discarded due to the time interpretation. Beneath it lies a treasure. But beneath "their" plate, the viewer finds love! This beautiful routine is described in detail. The required forcing board can be found in the templates. There are also suggestions for making props that can transform this trick into a micromagical treasure.
