A mental trick - not just for children's shows

A pile of Kinder Surprise eggs is set up on the stage. Several children are allowed to come forward to choose one each. The performer asks if they know what surprise is inside. The children must open their eggs to find out. The performer briefly holds the last egg and is then able to describe exactly what is inside. One child opens the egg and confirms the performer's explanation.

Of course, there is a different surprise in each egg.

This description of the effect sounds harmless, but with children the trick hits like a bomb!
