Hamburg occupies a special place in the history of magic. Hardly any other city in the world showcases this traditional art with such diversity and significance.
The development of magic is inextricably linked to the Hanseatic city. The foundations of the world's first magic societies were laid here. A periodical on magic in German was first published here. The first magic shop opened here, and magicians launched their global careers here.

With this book, Wittus Witt, himself a renowned magician, provides a detailed and richly illustrated insight into the art of magic, especially that which is closely linked to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg.

228 large-format pages, over 300 illustrations, hardback, with dust jacket, supplements, including a DVD and two facsimile prints
